Dubois Records will release a soundtrack album for the boxing drama The Cut. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Bad Boys for Life, Top Gun: Maverick, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F) & Stuart Michael Thomas (Midnight Bayou, Bustin’ Down the Door, Northern Lights, Blue Smoke). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to two tracks from the composers’ score below. The Cut is directed by Sean Ellis and stars Orlando Bloom, John Turturro, Caitríona Balfe, Gary Beadle, Ed Kear and Clare Dunne. The movie follows a former champion who is obsessed with getting back in the ring and goes through an unsanctioned and grueling weight cut program with a coach who knows no limits.

Lorne Balfe & Joshua Pacey Scoring ITV’s ‘The Hack’
Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Widow, The Wheel of Time, Black Adam, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F) & Joshua Pacey have been hired to score the upcoming ITV drama The Hack. The show is created by Jack Thorne (Adolescence, Enola Holmes) and stars David Tennant, Robert Carlyle, Toby Jones, Rose Leslie, Dougray Scott, Adrian Lester, Eve Myles, Katherine Kelly, Kevin Doyle, Lara Pulver, Neil Maskell, Pip Torrens, Lee Ingleby and Steve Pemberton. The 7-part series tells the real life stories of investigative journalist Nick Davies who uncovered evidence of phone hacking at the News of the World, and – running parallel – the investigation into the unsolved murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan, led by former Met Police Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Cook.
