The show is based on Tom Bradby’s novel of the same title and stars Gemma Arterton, Rafe Spall, Alex Kingston, Roger Allam, Mark Stanley, Amaka Okafor, Avi Nash, Aoife Hinds, Alma Prelec and Khalid Abdalla. Stefano Cabrera Scoring BritBox’s & ITVX’s ‘A Taste for Murder’
Stefano Cabrera (Hotel Portofino, Terry Pratchett’s The Abominable Snow Baby, Suspect) is the composer of the new BritBox/ITVX crime drama A Taste for Murder. The show is created by Matt Baker (Patience) and stars Warren Brown, Phyllis Logan, Cristiana Dell’Anna, Urbano Barberini, Beau Gadsdon, Alessandro Fella, Gaia Scodellaro and Alessandro Bedetti. The 6-part series revolves around a British detective who retreats to Capri to mourn his wife and repair his bond with his daughter, but instead geti drawn back to the work he cannot escape.
‘The Lady’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the ITV/BritBox drama The Lady. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ivor Novello Award nominee Chris Roe (The Salt Path, Blue Jean, Bad Apples, Trigger Point, Wolf, After Love, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, Lancaster). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to the composer’s fourth track (A Whole New Person) written for former royal dresser Jane Andrews’ transformation scene (in Episode 1), where she changes her accent, hair, and style to fit into palace life, after the jump. The Lady is written by Debbie O’Malley, directed by Lee Haven Jones and stars Mia McKenna-Bruce, Natalie Dormer, Ed Speleers, Philip Glenister, Ophelia Lovibond, Claire Skinner, Laura Aikman, Daniel Ryan, Mark Stanley and Sean Teale. The 4-parter follows the rise and fall of Andrews, who worked for Sarah, Duchess of York, before her 2001 conviction for the murder of her boyfriend Thomas Cressman.

‘New Captain Scarlet’ 20th Anniversary Edition Soundtrack Album Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the British animated series New Captain Scarlet created by Gerry Anderson based on the 1960s classic Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons and starring Wayne Forester, Emma Tate, Robbie Stevens, Mike Hayley and Nigel Plaskitt. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Crispin Merrell (Space Precint, Death Machine, Lavender Castle). The limited edition 2-CD set, which includes new cover art, as well as the 40-page booklet from Netwerk’s previous, now out-of-print, 2008 premiere soundtrack album, will be released on March 13, 2026 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list.
