MovieScore Media has announced a soundtrack album for the Spanish thriller Dos. The album features the film’s original music composed by Diego Navarro (The Photographer of Mauthausen, Capture the Flag, Mimesis: Night of the Living Dead, Passage to Dawn). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 23 and is now available for pre-order here. Dos is directed by Mar Targarona and stars Marina Gatell and Pablo Derqui. The movie follows two strangers who wake up in an unknown place, naked and glued to each other by their stomachs, and struggle to understand how and why they got there – and becoming increasingly terrified as the truth emerges. Rambling Records will release a soundtrack album for the Japanese fantasy adventure The Great Yokai War: Guardians (Yokai Daisenso: Guardians). The album features the film’s original music composed by Koji Endo (13 Assassins, Mojin: The Lost Legend, First Love, Blade of the Immortal) who previously scored the original 2005 The Great Yokai War movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 4, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the full track list (in Japanese). Rolfe Kent (Sideways, About Schmidt, Wedding Crashers, Election, Up in the Air, Mean Girls, Freaky Friday) has recently scored the upcoming comedy Vacation Friends. The film is directed by Clay Tarver (Silicon Valley, Joy Ride) and stars John Cena, Lil Rel Howery, Yvonne Orji, Meredith Hagner, Robert Wisdom, Andrew Bachelor and Lynn Whitfield. The movie follows a straight-laced couple that has fun with a rowdy couple on vacation in Mexico and later discover that the crazy couple they met in Mexico followed them back home to the United States. Back Lot Music will release the first-ever soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s Tales of Arcadia saga. The album includes music from all parts of the trilogy: Trollhunters featuring selections of the score by Tim Davies (Maya and the Three) and the Trollhunters Theme written by Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water); 3Below featuring the theme by The Crystal Method (Bones, London) and selections of the score composed by Jeff Danna (Onward, The Good Dinosaur, The Addams Family) and Wizards featuring theme and score by Danna & John Fee. Also included are selections of Danna’s score from the new movie Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans and the end credits music and two additional tracks by The Crystal Method. The movie follows an artist left to take care of his precocious young nephew as they forge an unexpected bond over a cross country trip. Composer Émoi is set to reteam with director Kevin Lewis on the upcoming horror movie The Accursed. The film starring Mena Suvari, Sarah Grey, Alexis Knapp, Meg Foster and Sarah Dumont focuses on a young woman who is forced to return home from volunteering as a nurse abroad after her estranged mother dies by suicide and finds herself haunted by terrifying visions of her mother. Consumed by guilt and eager for a quick escape, she accepts the offer as a temporary caregiver to look after a comatose woman in her isolated cabin, where she is confronted by a witch hunter who is hellbent on lifting the demonic curse that has plagued her family for generation.
