Back Lot Music has released a new soundtrack album for Paul Schrader’s dramatic thriller The Card Counter . The album features the film’s original score composed by Robert Levon Been (of the rock band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) & Giancarlo Vulcano (BriarpatchGreat NewsModern Persuasion). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. BMG has previously released a separate soundtrack featuring Levon Been’s original songs from the movie. The Card Counter is written and directed by Schrader and stars Oscar Isaac, Tye Sheridan, Tiffany Haddish and Willem Dafoe. The movie follows a man whose spartan existence on the casino trail is shattered when he is approached by a vulnerable and angry young man seeking help to execute his plan for revenge on a military colonel. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album for the drama Blue Bayou. The album features the film’s original music composed by Roger Suen (Gook, Ms. Purple, Spy Intervention, A Kid from Coney Island). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music platforms. Blue Bayou is written and directed by Justin Chon and stars Chon himself, alongside Alicia Vikander, Mark O’Brien, Linh Dan Pham and Emory Cohen. The movie tells the story of a Korean adoptee raised in a small town in the Louisiana bayou whomust confront the ghosts of his past when he discovers that he could be deported from the only country he has ever called home. Ice Chest Musick has released a new soundtrack EP for the Netflix original series Sex Education. The 5-track EP features three new songs from the third season of the show written and performed by Ezra Furman (and produced by series composer Oli Julian), as well as two tracks by Furman and his former band The Harpoons. Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Eyes of Tammy Faye. The album features the songs from the movie performed by lead actress Jessica Chastain. Also included is Don’t Give Up (On the Brink of a Miracle) performed by the title character’s daughter Tammy Sue Bakker, as well as a score suite by the film’s composer Theodore Shapiro. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 17 and will be available to stream/download here. The full details of the soundtrack album for Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Interstellar, Man of Steel). The soundtrack will be released (in both Standard and Dolby Atmos Music configurations) tomorrow, September 17 by WaterTower Music. and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. As previously announced, The Dune Sketchbook featuring extended musical explorations of the composer’s score was released earlier this month and a third album, The Art and Soul of Dune, the companion soundtrack to the book of the same title featuring music by Zimmer will be coming out on October 22.
