Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the ITV crime thriller The Tower. The album features the show’s original music composed by Nainita Desai (For Sama, The Reason I Jump, American Murder: The Family Next Door, Sophie: A Murder in West Cork, Enslaved, Enemy Within, Telling Lies). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 19 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Tower is adapted by Patrick Harbinson based on former Homicide Team Met Police officer Kate London’s breakthrough first novel Post Mortem and stars Gemma Whelan, Tahirah Sharif, Jimmy Akingbola and Emmett J. Scanlan. The 3-parter follows Detective Sergeant Sarah Collins who is charged to investigate after a veteran beat cop and teenage girl fall to their deaths from a tower block in south-east London. Grande Ourse has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Magnetic Beats (Les magnétiques). The album features the film’s original music composed by David Sztanke (Wrong, Keep an Eye Out, Sophie’s Misfortunes, This Summer Feeling). La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1946 classic It’s a Wonderful Life directed by Frank Capra and starring James Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore. The album features the newly remastered original original score from the Paramount Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Dimitri Tiomkin (High Noon, Giant, The Alamo, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Guns of Navarone), including the film version of the Main Title and music from the film’s trailer. The CD, which is being released coinciding with the movie’s 75th anniversary, is limited 2,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples. Joy Ngiaw has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix original film Rescued by Ruby. The drama is based on a true story and centers on the relationship between a state trooper that dreams of joining the K-9 search and rescue team and a shelter dog who dreams of having a home, but is running out of hope. Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for Marvel’s Hulu animated series Hit-Monkey. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Daniel Rojas (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K.). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 17 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Hit-Monkey is created by Josh Gordon & Will Speck based on the Marvel Comics characters and features the voice talent of Fred Tatasciore, Jason Sudeikis, George Takei, Nobi Nakanishi, Ally Maki and Olivia Munn. The Marvel Studios production follows a Japanese snow monkey who joins forces with an American assassin’s ghost after his tribe is slaughtered, and together, they begin killing their way through the Yakuza underworld.
