Republic Records Kids & Family has released the second soundtrack album for the Nickelodeon animated series The Wild Thornberrys created by Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó, David Silverman, Stephen Sustarsic & Steve Pepoon and starring Lacey Chabert, Tom Kane, Tim Curry, Danielle Harris, Jodi Carlisle and Flea. The Vol. 2 album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Drew Neumann (Æon FluxAaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Wild Thornberrys Movie, Scalps, Biohazard, The Tomb). The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. The movie is directed by Roar Uthaug (Tomb Raider, The Wave) and stars Ine Marie Wilmann, Sara Khorami, Kim S. Falck-Jørgensen, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, Karoline Viktoria Sletteng Garvang. The sequel to Uthaug’s 2022 original Troll movie (scored by Ringen) follows Nora, Andreas & Captain Kris as they leap back into action when a dangerous new troll awakens. The album features the Emmy Award-nominated original score from the episode composed by Duncan Thum (Brittany Runs a Marathon, Chef’s Table, The Iron Orchard, I’ll Sleep When I’m DeadDealt) & David Bertok (Peace by Chocolate, The Wedding Invitation, For the Love of George, Botero). The albums feature selections of the original music from both seasons of the show composed by Emmy Award nominee Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Ride Along, Lost in SpaceTom & JerryAgent Carter, Gen V, Back in Action, Supernatural) who previously co-scored 2016’s Sausage Party feature and Alexander Bornstein (Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy, The TutorAre You Afraid of the Dark?First to the MoonBlack Site Delta). The film starring Michaela Coel, Ian McKellen, Jessica Gunning & James Corden follows the heirs of a once-famous painter who hire a forger to complete his unfinished works so they can be discovered and sold after his death.
