Danny Elfman (Batman, Spider-Man, Alice in Wonderland, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands) has revealed in a recent interview with iNews that he is composing the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film White Noise. The movie is directed by Noah Baumbach (Marriage Story, The Squid and the Whale) and stars Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig, Raffey Cassidy, Alessandro Nivola, André Benjamin, Jodie Turner-Smith and Don Cheadle. The horror comedy is based on Don DeLillo’s epochal postmodern 1985 novel of the same title and follows a professor and father-of-four whose comfortable suburban college town life and marriage to a secretive woman are upended after a horrifying nearby accident creates an airborne toxic event of frightening and unknowable proportions.
