Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Alien: Earth, The Night Of, Legion, RipleyFor All Mankind, Zero Day, The Man Who Feel to Earth). Also included is Rufus Wainwright’s cover version of San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flower Covers in Your Hair) as featured in the first episode, which is embedded after the jump. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 16 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music music services. Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish historical fantasy drama The Night (Gaua). ‘The Moment’ Score Album Details

The full details of the score album for the mockumentary The Moment have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by music producer and songwriter A.G. Cook. The soundtrack will be released on January 30 by A24 Music and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Dread) was released last month and a second track (Offscreen) has just been released today and can also be checked out below. The Moment is co-written and directed by Aidan Zamiri and stars Charli xcx, Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle, Hailey Benton Gates, Mel Ottenberg, Trew Mullen and Kylie Jenner. Dragon’s Domain Records has released a new soundtrack album for the 1990 movie adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel The Handmaid’s Tale directed by Volker Schlöndorff and starring Natasha Richardson, Faye Dunaway, Aidan Quinn, Elizabeth McGovern, Victoria Tennant and Robert Duvall. The 35th Anniversary Edition features the newly remastered original score composed by Academy Award winner Ryuichi Sakamoto (The Last Emperor, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, The Revenant, Little Buddha, The Sheltering Sky, Snake Eyes).
