Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi adventure The End of Oak Street written and directed by David Robert Mitchell and starring Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella, Bethany Anne Lind, Christian Convery, Chris Coy, P.J. Byrne, Andrea Frankle, Pilot Bunch and Hudson Meek. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, The Batman, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Jurassic World, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Trek, Zooptopia). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday and Mutant will release a CD and vinyl version. Also opening wide is the animated feature PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie directed by Cal Brunker and starring Carter Young, Mckenna Grace, Jennifer Hudson, Meredith MacNeill, Terry Crews,Fortune Feimster, Jameela Jamil, Hayden Chemberlen, Ron Pardo, Paris Hilton, Lucien Duncan-Reid, Bill Nye and Snoop Dogg. Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel, The Lost City,Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Stargirl,  Shotgun Wedding, Slumberland, Loney Planet, Family Switch) has composed the film’s original score. Spin Master has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music today and Visva & Republic Records have released two digital singles featuring the original songs Bottle Up by the Backstreet Boys & Work by Ava Max in previous weeks. ‘All Night Wrong’ Soundtrack Released

MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the Canadian/British crime comedy thriller All Night Wrong. The album features the film’s original music composed by Adiescar Chase (Heartstopper, Waterloo Road, Falling, Bergerac, Consent). Haim Mazar Scoring Disney’s ‘Lilo & Scratch’

Last month, Haim Mazar (Scary Movie, The Iceman, The Taking of Deborah Logan, Sneakerheads, Woke, Self Help, Desperation Road, I Am Wrath) has recorded his score for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming short Lilo & Scratch. The film is directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn (Wish) & Malcon Pierce and stars Chris Sanders who reprises his voice performance as Stitch from the 2001 animated feature Lilo & Stitch (scored by Alan Silvestri) and last year’s live-action adaptation (scored by Dan Romer). Maia Kealoha who played Lilo in last year’s film also lends her voice to the short, which follows Stitch as he is tasked with looking after Scratch, a cat Lilo has found. ‘Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma’ Soundtrack Album Details

The details of the soundtrack album for Jane Schoenbrun’s horror feature Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma have been announced. The album features selections of the film’s original score composed by Alex G who previously scored Schoenbrun’s I Saw the TV Glow & We’re All Going to the World’s Fair. Also included is the original song Pain Is the Heart of Love written by Alex G featuring lyrics by Schoenbrun and vocals by Paul Buchanan of The Blue Nile (already available now as a digital single), as well as other songs from the movie by R.E.M., Sally Shapiro, Counting Crows, Donna Lewis and Okay Kaya. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, August 21 and physically (on CD, cassette & vinyl) later this year by Waxwork Records. Mutant has announced physical versions of the soundtrack album for David Robert Mitchell’s sci-fi adventure The End of Oak Street written and directed by David Robert Mitchell and starring Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella, Christian Convery, Bethany Anne Lind, Chris Coy, P.J. Byrne, Hudson Meek, Pilot Bunch and Andrea Frankle.. The album features the movie’s original score composed by multi-instrumentalist, music producer, artist, and composer Yuli (Murder 101) who has made her feature scoring debut on the project. Also included are the cover songs from the film produced by Nick Baxter performed by lead actress Sunny Sandler and other cast members. The film is directed by Marc Turtletaub (Puzzle, Gods Behaving Badly) and stars Alan Cumming, Fionn Whitehead, Freya Mavor, Luis Gnecco, John Gordon Sinclair, Morven Christie, Peter Mullan and Stuart Bowman. The movie based on author Jay Parini’s memoir of the same name is set in the 1970s and follows a young Parini as a student who finds himself committed to driving a blind poet Jorge Luis Borges across the Scottish countryside. Interscope Records has released a new version of Mia & Sebastian’s Theme from Damien Chazelle’s 2016 movie musical La La Land starring Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, John Legend and Rosemarie DeWitt. Composer Justin Hurwitz (Whiplash, Babylon, First Man) who received his first two Academy Awards for his score and a song from the film has recorded a new version of the theme for the musical’s 10th anniversary.
