The film is directed by William Bridges (Soulmates) and stars Brett Goldstein, Imogen Poots, Zawe Ashton, Steven Cree and Jenna Coleman. The movie revolves around two best friends who harbor an unspoken love for one another, even after a test matches one of them up with their supposed soulmate. The show’s original music is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The Royal Tenenbaums, , The LEGO Movie, 21/22 Jump Street, The Croods: A New Age, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs). David Schwartz (Arrested Development, The Good Place, Lucy and Desi, Northern Exposure, Veep, Lady Dynamite) has composed the show. The 4-parter, which focuses on the events when Rose was handed a lifetime ban from the sport of baseball after an investigation revealed that he had bet on games during his tenure as the manager of the Cincinnati Reds, will air on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.
