Pharrell Williams has written five original songs for the animated documentary Piece by Piece. Song titles include Piece by Piece (feat. Princess Anne High School Fabulous Marching Cavaliers), It’s Happening (co-written with Shelly Berg), Virginia Boy (feat. Shae Haley), the closing credit song For Real, as well as L’Ego Odyssey (co-written with Shelly Berg), a multi-part suite that appears in different portions across the film. The movie also features numerous hit songs by the Grammy Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated singer/songwriter (including Drop It Like It’s Hot & Happy), deconstructed, remixed, and remade for the project.
