Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the French racing drama Faster (Rapide). The album features the film’s original music composed by Etienne Forget (The Last Journey of Paul W.R., Missions, Victor Hugo – Enemy of the State, AKA, Hero Corp, The Forest). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 16 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. Faster is co-written and directed by Morgan S. Dalibert and stars Paola Locatelli, Alban Lenoir, Rik Kleve and Tchéky Karyo. The movie follows a young woman who dreams of winning the Formula 1 championship, but sees no way to break into the male-dominated sports, when she finds an unexpected mentor in a washed-up former driver while simultaneously falling in love with her fiercest rival.

Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans Scoring Netflix’s ‘Splinter Cell: Deathwatch’ Animated Series
Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The Outsider, Enemy, Speak No Evil, The White Tiger, The Gift, Boy Erased, The Staircase, Tokyo Vice) have been tapped to compose music for the upcoming Netflix animated series Splinter Cell: Deathwatch. The show based on the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell espionage video game franchise is directed by Guillaume Dousse & Félicien Colmet-Daage and stars Liev Schreiber as Sam Fisher, a black ops agent working for the US government division “The Fourth Echelon.” Derek Kolstad (John Wick, Nobody) serves as the project’s head writer.

Jesse Eisenberg to Write Music & Lyrics for A24 Movie Musical
A24 announced today that Jesse Eisenberg wrote the original music and lyrics for the actor’s third feature directorial effort. The (currently untitled) musical comedy will star Julianne Moore, Paul Giamatti, Halle Bailey, Havana Rose Liu, Bernadette Peters, Bonnie Milligan, Colton Ryan, Maulik Pancholy and Lilli Cooper. Steven Gizicki (A Complete Unknown, La La Land) serves as the project’s music supervisor and Bill Sherman (In the Heights, tick, tick…BOOM!) is the executive music producer on the film, which follows a shy woman who is unexpectedly cast in a community theater musical production and going to extremes as she loses herself in the role.
‘Fireworks’ Soundtrack Album Released
Radiofandango has released a soundtrack album for the Italian limited series Fireworks (Fuochi d’artificio). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Nicola Tescari (Grand Hotel, Euphoria, Lo spazio bianco, Waiting for the Sun). The show is created by Brendan Foley (Legend of the Bog) and stars David Thewlis (as Sherlock Holmes), Blu Hunt and Dougray Scott (as Moriarty).
