Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music has released a soundtrack album for the romantic drama Wish You Were Here. The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter Vanessa Carlton and John Joseph McCauley III (of the rock band Deer Tick) who made their feature scoring debut on the project. Wish You Were Here marks the feature directorial debut of actress Julia Stiles and stars Isabelle Fuhrman, Mena Massoud, Jimmy Fails, Gabby Kono-Abdy, Jennifer Grey and Kelsey Grammer. The movie is based on Renée Carlino’s novel of the same title follows a woman who searches for meaning in her life until – after a perfect night with a perfect stranger that ends suddenly the next morning – she uncovers a secret that changes everything. The drama was released in select theaters this past January by Lionsgate and is now available on VOD.
