The film starring Meghann Fahy, Brandon Sklenar, Violett Beane, Jacob Robinson, Reed Diamond, Gabrielle Ryan, Jeffery Self, Travis Nelson & Ed Weeks, follows a widowed mother who goes on her first date in years and is relieved that her date is more charming and handsome than she expected, but their chemistry begins to curdle as she begins being irritated and then terrorized by a series of anonymous drops to her phone. The album features the film’s original music written by Choi Chul-ho and other composers. The Prosecutor is directed by Donnie Yen and stars Yen himself, Julian Cheung, Francis Ng, Kent Cheng, Adam Pak, Kang Yu and Locker Lam. The movie is inspired by an actual legal case in Hong Kong involving a man who falsely pleads guilty to drug trafficking after being framed and follows a veteran policeman-turned-prosecutor handling the case who is convinced of the man’s innocence and pursues his own investigation. Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, January 15, is the Spanish limited series Cristóbal Balenciaga created by Lourdes Iglesias, Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño & Jose Mari Goenag and starring Alberto San Juan, Belén Cuesta, Josean Bengoetxea, Cecilia Solaguren, Adam Quintero, Gemma Whelan, Gabrielle Lazure, Thomas Coumans, Anouk Grinberg, Patrice Thibaud, Nine d’Urso and Anna-Victoire Olivier. The show’s original music is composed by Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Volver, The Constant GardenerThe Kite Runner, The Skin I Live In, The Room Next Door). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last January when the series premiered overseas on Disney+. Love Theme Music has released a soundtrack album for the French sci-fi thriller Planet B (Planète B). The album features the film’s original music composed by Bertrand Bonello (Saint Laurent, The Beast, NocturamaZombi Child, On War). Opening semi-wide in around 800 theaters following an awards-qualifying release in December is the drama The Last Showgirl directed by Gia Coppola and starring Pamela Anderson, Billie Lourd, Brenda Song, Kiernan Shipka, Dave Bautista and Jamie Lee Curtis. Andrew Wyatt (Barbie) has composed the film’s original music.
