Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi comedy Mickey 17 written and directed by Bong Joon Ho and starring Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Mark Ruffalo, Toni Collette and Steven Yeun. The film’s original music is composed by Jung Jaeil (Parasite, Squid Game, Okja, Broker, Twinless). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Also opening in theaters nationwide is the drama Rule Breakers co-written and directed by Bill Guttentag and starring Ali Fazal, Nikohl Boosheri, Amber Afzali, Sara Malal Rowe, Nada El Belkasmi, Noorin Gulamgaus and Nina Hosseinzadeh. Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Monk, Carnivale, Pollock, The Biggest Little Farm, Rome, Appaloosa, Blackfish) has composed the film’s original music. Categorical Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original song performed by Aryana Sayeed and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus today.
