Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the psychological thriller Blink Twice co-written and directed by Zoë Kravitz and starring Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum, Adria Arjona, Kyle MacLachlan, Christian Slater, Haley Joel Osment, Simon Rex, Geena Davis and Alia Shawkat. The film’s original music is composed by Chanda Dancy (Lawmen: Bass Reeves, Devotion, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, The Defeated, Aftershock). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the action thriller The Crow directed by Rupert Sanders and starring Bill Skarsgard, FKA Twigs, Sami Bouajila, Karel Dobry, Jordan Bolger, Josette Simon, Laura Birn and Danny Huston. Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Hotel Mumbai, Lion, Adrift, Patrick Melrose, The Old Guard, Ammonite) has composed the film’s original music. No word yet on a soundtrack release. ‘The Becomers’ Soundtrack Album Details

Platitude Music will release a soundtrack album for the indie sci-fi romantic comedy The Becomers. The album features the film’s original music composed and performed by Fritz Myers (Sushi Girl, White Reindeer, The Harrow, Little Sister). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 23 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The composer’s end titles track is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The Becomers is written and directed by Zach Clark and stars Russell Mael, Molly Plunk, Isabel Alamin, Mike Lopez and Keith Kelly. The movie follows two body-snatching alien lovers who arrive separately on Earth after being forced to flee their dying planet and are determined to find each other as they realize that life in modern-day America is more complicated than they could have ever imagined. First Tracks from Gints Zilbalodis’ & Rihards Zalupe’s ‘Flow’ Score Released

Milan Records has released two first tracks from the soundtrack for the soundtrack for the animated feature Flow. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services are Abandoned City / Dog Chase written by the film’s director Gints Zilbalodis (Away) and Rihards Zalupe (The Pagan King). Flow co-written and directed by Zilbalodis is set in a world that seems to be coming to an end and follows a cat whose home is devastated by a great flood and finds refuge on a boat populated by various species. East Bank Studios has released a soundtrack album for the martial arts action thriller Kung Fu Games. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tommy Simpson (Run the Tide). Also included are tracks by Rex Rath, Fortress Social Club and Johnzo West. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack, which is curated by Shannon McIntosh. Kung Fu Games is co-written and directed by Ryan Jaeger and stars Mark Strange, Caitlin Dechelle, Jade Xu, Matthew Goodwin, Jose Manuel and Lathrop Walker. The movie presented by Tiger Style Media follows a group of notorious fighters who are trapped in lethal martial arts games by a sadistic magnate and – armed only with their combat skills – have to face brutal battles for survival. A24 Music has released the original song Like a Bird from the drama Sing Sing. The track co-written (with Brandon Marcel) and performed by Adrian Quesada & Abraham Alexander is now available to stream/download as a digital single on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the track after the jump. The label has previously released a full soundtrack album featuring Bryce Dessner’s original score from the movie last month. A vinyl edition featuring both the score and song is now available to order in A24’s online store. Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Outrun. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Gürtler & Jan Miserre (System Crasher, A Mouthful of Air, For Jojo, Kids Run, Space Dogs, Fig Tree). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 13 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A vinyl edition is also in the works. A first track (Corncrake) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The Outrun is co-written and directed by Nora Fingscheidt and stars Saoirse Ronan, Paapa Essiedu, Saskia Reeves and Stephen Dillane. The movie is based on Amy Liptrot’s memoir and revolves around a young woman who must wrestle with recovery in the remote islands of Orkney whilst reckoning with her complex family history.
