Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring four scores composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Lee Holdridge (Splash, The Beastmaster, Mr. Mom, The Mists of Avalon, Old Gringo, Oliver’s Story) for several documentary films set during the Olympics. Titles include the composer’s music from Bud Greenspan’s 1985 documentary 16 Days of Glory about the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, as well as Barcelona 1992, The Spirit of the Olympics and Lillhammer 1994. Lee Holdridge Goes to the Olympics is now available to order as a limited edition 2-CD set on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Opening in theaters nationwide is the post-apocalyptic horror sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple directed by Nia DaCosta and starring Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman and Chi Lewis-Parry. The film’s original music is composed by Hildur Guđnadóttir (Joker, Chernobyl, Tar, A Haunting in Venice, Women Talking, The Bride!, Hedda, Sicario: Day of the Soldado). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
