Three new movies are opening nationwide this week and have been playing in theaters since this past Wednesday:
Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Ralph Breaks the Internet directed by Rich Moore & Phil Johnston and starring John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Taraji P. Henson, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch. The film’s original score is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Big Hero 6). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as original songs written by Alan Menken & Imagine Dragons. Also opening wide is the boxing drama Creed II directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Russell Hornsby, Andre Ward and Dolph Lundgren. Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, Creed, Venom, Fruitvale Station, Community) has composed the film’s original score. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score (click here for the full details).
