Bear McCreary has recently composed the music for the upcoming horror thriller Eli. The film is directed by Ciaran Foy (Sinister 2, Citadel) and stars Charlie Shotwell, Lili Taylor, Kelly Reilly, Max Martini and Sadie Sink. The movie centers on a young boy undergoing treatment for a rare disease at a secluded clinic, which becomes a haunted prison with no way out. Varese Sarabande will release a new soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Man in the High Castle. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third season composed by Dominic Lewis (Peter Rabbit, Free Birds, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, DuckTales, The DUFF). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 8, 2019 and will be available to download here. The label has previously released a two soundtrack albums featuring the score from the first two seasons. Fil Eisler is reuniting with director Ben Falcone (The Boss, Tammy) on the upcoming action comedy Superintelligence. The movie starring Melissa McCarthy, Bobby Cannavale, James Corden, Brian Tyree Henry and Sam Richardson follows a former corporate executive whose life is turned upside down when she is selected for observation by the world’s first super-intelligence – an artificial intelligence that may or may not take over the world. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Bros: After the Screaming Stops. The album features the film’s original score composed by Blur drummer David Rowntree and Ian Arber (I Am Bolt, My Name Is Lenny, Scott and Sid). Also included are two songs by the titular band Bros. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Bros: After the Screaming Stops is directed by Joe Pearlman & David Soutar and documents the rise, fall, relationship, rehearsals and preparation 28 years on from the English pop band Bros’ sell-out reunion shows at London’s O2 Arena. RZA to Score ‘Angel of Dust’

Deadline is reporting that RZA is attached to score the upcoming horror thriller Angel of Dust. The Wu-Tang Clan member will also direct the movie, which follows a normal yet exceptionally smart teenager and talented rapper who – after the mysterious death of his parents – is forced to grow up in NY’s roughest inner-city street. RZA is also producing the project with Ghostface Killah and Impossible Dream Entertainment’s Shaun Redick (BlacKkKlansman). Matt Leslie & Stephen J. Waxwork Records has announced the first soundtrack release for the HBO original series Vice Principals. The album features the complete score from the show’s first two seasons composed by Joseph Stephens (Eastbound and Down, Observe and Report, Flower).  The soundtrack will be released as a 180 gram North Jackson Warriors Blue and White colored vinyl (Season 1) and 180 Gram North Jackson Tigers Orange and White colored vinyl (Season 2) and will be available on the label’s official website starting tomorrow, January 29. The show is created by Jordan Peele (Get Out) & Charlie Sanders and stars Dylan O’Brien, Awkwafina, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Steven Yeun, Ed O’Neil, Hannah Simone, Gillian Jacobs, Laverne Cox, Malcolm Barrett, Mark Hamill, Yvette Nicole Brown, Trevor Jackson, Auli’i Cravalho, Levar Burton and Sara Gilbert. The sci-fi comedy is set in a dystopian setting, where the middle class has completely vanished dividing “Weird City” into two sections: Above the Line (The Haves), and Below the Line (The Have Nots). Henry Jackman (Wreck-It-Ralph, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, X-Men: First Class, Big Hero 6, Kong: Skull Island) has recently scored the upcoming thriller Mosul. The film is marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Matthew Michael Carnahan (World War Z, Deepwater Horizon, The Kingdom) and tells of the true story of an elite police unit made up almost entirely of native sons of Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, who fought to liberate it from 6,000 ISIS militants who overran it in 2014. The film is directed by Chris Robinson (ATL) and stars Anthony Anderson, Uzo Aduba, Khalil Everage, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Paul Walter Hauser and hip hop artists Dave East and Dreezy.
