Milan Records has released the first soundtrack album for the CBS All Access original series Strange Angel. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Daniel Hart (Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, The Old Man and the Gun, Comet). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. WaterTower Music has released the cover version of Kelly Clarkson’s People Like Us from the DC Universe original series Doom Patrol. The song (written by Blair Daly, James Michael & Meghan Shahnaz Kabir) performed by actor Matt Bomer is now available as a digital single on Amazon. Also listen to the full track after the jump. Ian Hultquist (Assassination NationA-X-LAnimalsMy Blind BrotherThe Gospel According to André) is scoring the upcoming Netflix original movie Rattlesnake. The film is written and directed by Zak Hilditch (1922, These Final Hours) and stars Carmen Ejogo, Theo Rossi and Emma Greenwell. The psychological thriller follows a single mother who accepts the help of a mysterious woman after her daughter is bitten by a rattlesnake and finds herself forced to pay back her “debt” by taking the life of a total stranger in the rural town of Tulia, Texas. Ross Dinerstein (The Pact, 6 Balloons, The Innocent Man) is producing the project for Campfire. Australian Broadcasting Corp (ABC) will release a soundtrack album for the Australian Netflix original series Lunatics. The album features the songs from first season of the show written by Chris Lilley. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Lunatics is created by Lilley (Summer Heights High, Ja’mie: Private School Girl) and follows the peculiar lives of six eccentric – and sometimes obscene – misfits (all played by Lilley) who march to their own beat. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Suicide Squad, Our Planet, Fury, Baby Driver, The Hunt). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 28 and will be available to download on Amazon. Ophelia is directed by Claire McCarthy and stars Daisy Ridley, Naomi Watts, Clive Owen, George Mackay and Tom Felton. Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Revenge, Horns, Troy: Fall of a City) is the composer of the upcoming French TV series Savages (Les Sauvages). The show is directed by Rebecca Zlotowski and stars Roschdy Zem, Dali Benssalah, Souheila Yacoub, Marina Foïs, Amira Casar, Romain Levi, Lyna Khoudri and Sofiane Zermani. The drama is based on the novels of the same title by Sabri Louatah and is being described as a family saga set against a backdrop of politics and social tensions in contemporary France. Composer Larry Groupé is reuniting with director Rod Lurie on the upcoming drama The Outpost. The film starring Scott Eastwood, Orlando Bloom, Caleb Landry Jones, Kwame Patterson and Cory Hardrict is based on Jake Tapper’s 2013 book of the same title and chronicles the true story of the 53 U.S. soldiers who battled a force of some 400 enemy insurgents in northeastern Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Ben Frost (Super Dark Times, Sleeping BeautyFortitudeThe Deep). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 28 and will be available to download here. CD and vinyl versions are also in the works and a second album featuring the composer’s score from Season will be released next month. Dark is created by Baran bo Odar & Jantje Friese and tells the story of a missing child who sets four families on a frantic hunt for answers as they unearth a mind-bending mystery that spans three generations. The film is written and directed by Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, screenwriter of Sicario & Hell or High Water) and stars Angelina Jolie, Nicholas Hoult, Tyler Perry, Jon Bernthal, Finn Little, Jake Weber, Aidan Gillen and Medina Senghore. The movie is based on the novel of the same title by Michael Koryta and revolves around a teenage boy who, after witnessing a brutal murder, is given a new identity and placed in a wilderness skills program for troubled teens as he is being pursued by said killers. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Gary Lionelli (O.J.: Made in America, Last Days in Vietnam, Luck). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 12, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Chasing the Moon is directed by Robert Stone and reimagines the race to the moon for a new generation, upending much of the conventional mythology surrounding the effort.
