Curb Records will release a soundtrack album for the faith-based biographical drama Unsung Hero. The album features songs from and inspired by the film by Christian pop duo for KING & Country, including reimagined versions of Christian music, several new songs and collaborations with artists such as Amy Grant, Rebecca St. James, Michael W. Smith, Stryper, Lee Brice and Hillary Scott. The soundtrack will be released digitally, on CD and vinyl on April 26 and is now available for pre-order (in all three formats) on Amazon. Unsung Hero is written and directed by Richard Ramsey & Joel Smallbone and starring Smallbone himself, Daisy Betts, Kirrilee Berger, Jonathan Jackson, Lucas Black, Candace Cameron Bure, Terry O’Quinn and Hillary Scott. Composer Jerskin Fendrix is reteaming with director Yorgos Lanthimos on the upcoming sci-fi anthology movie Kinds of Kindness. The film is co-written (with Efthimis Filippou) and directed by Lanthimos (The Favourite, The Lobster) and stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Hunter Schafer and Mamoudou Athie. No plot details have been revealed yet. Lanthimos is also producing the project with Ed Guiney (Room, Disobedience), Andrew Lowe (Normal People, The Wonder) and Kasia Malipan. The film is directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah and stars Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Eric Dane, Paola Nuñez, Ioan Gruffudd, Jacob Scipio, Tasha Smith, Melanie Liburd, Tiffany Haddish and Joe Pantoliano. The composer has previously released his music from the original music early last year.
