Lee Mendelson Film Productions has announced the premiere release of the complete soundtrack for the 1969 animated television special It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown created by Charles M. Schulz and directed by Bill Melendez. The album features the original music from the sixth Peanuts special composed by Vince Guaraldi (A Charlie Brown ChristmasIt’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, A Boy Named Charlie Brown), including the original recordings that comprise the song cues of the special, as well as another six previously unreleased bonus/alternative tracks.
