FINNEAS (aka Finneas O’Connell) has composed the original score for the new comedy thriller Vengeance. The film marks the feature directorial debut of B.J. Novak (The Office, The Premise) and stars Novak himself, Issa Rae, Ashton Kutcher, Boyd Holbrook, J. Smith-Cameron and Dove Cameron. The movie centers on a journalist and podcaster who travels from New York City to West Texas to investigate the death of a girl he was hooking up with. Novak also wrote the screenplay. Jason Blum (Get Out, Halloween, Paranormal Activity) is producing the Blumhouse production with Adam Hendricks (Black Christmas) & Greg Gilreath (Cam, The Voyeurs). Finneas who is best known for his work with Billie Eilish and received his first Academy Award this year for co-writing the No Time to Die title song has previously scored the drama The Fallout, which premiered earlier this year on HBO Max. Vengeance will be released in theaters nationwide on July 29, 2022 by Focus Features.
