Intrada Records has announced the world premiere CD release of the soundtrack albums for the Fox docu-series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey executive produced by Seth MacFarlane, Ann Druyan, Mitchell Cannold & Brannon Braga and hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. The albums feature the show’s original music composed and conducted by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, The Avengers, Captain America: The First Avenger), including bonus tracks that were not featured on the digital soundtrack release, which came out back in 2014. The Vol. 1 soundtrack is now available to order on the label’s website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples. The Vol. 2, 3 and 4 soundtracks will be released over the next couple of months.
