Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album for the BBC natural history documentary series Kingdom. The album features the show’s original music composed by Segun Akinola (Doctor Who, Murder Is Easy, Stephen, 9/11: Inside the President’s War Room, Girl You Know It’s True, The Bayou, The Last Tree). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s main titles track after the jump. Kingdom is executive produced by Mike Gunton and narrated by Sir David Attenborough. The 6-parter produced by BBC Studios Natural History chronicles the dramatic real-life sagas of four African animal families, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs and lions – whose fates are inextricably linked as they strive for a foothold in a remote and fertile river valley in Zambia. The series currently airs in the UK every Sunday on BBC One (and is also available to stream in the BBCiPlayer) and will make its U.S. debut on January 24, 2026 on BBC America and AMC+.
