Fil Eisler (Outer BanksRevengeEmpireUnRealHow to Be Single, Thunder ForceSuperintelligenceFast Charlie, The Titan) is composing the original score for the new CBS drama Sheriff Country. The first spinoff to the network’s Fire Country is developed by Joan Rater & Tony Phelan (Grey’s Anatomy, A Small Light) and actor Max Thieriot and stars Morena Baccarin, Matt Lauria, Michele Weaver, W. Earl Brown, Christopher Gorham, as well as Thieriot & Diane Farr who reprise their roles from the original series. The show follows the the stepsister of Cal Fire’s division chief as she investigates criminal activity while she patrols the streets of small-town Edgewater, contending with her ex-con father and a mysterious incident involving her wayward daughter. Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan, Joan Rater, are also executive producing the CBS Studios production with Matt Lopez (Race to Witch Mountain, Promised Land) and Jerry Bruckheimer (Top Gun: Maverick, F1) and KristieAnne Reed (Lucifer, Hightown) for JBTV. Eisler has previously scored all episodes of Fire Country. Sheriff Country will premiere next Friday, October 17 on CBS, the same night of the Season 4 premiere of Fire Country, and will also be available to stream on Paramount+.

Eisler has also recently scored Christian Ditter’s fantasy family adventure Momo, which just opened in German theaters last week and is currently awaiting a domestic distribution deal. He also continues to score Netflix’s Outer Banks, which will return for a fifth and final season.
