Decca Records will release the official soundtrack album for the period drama Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner John Lunn (The Last Kingdom, The White Queen, Jamestown, Belgravia, The White Princess) who has previously scored all episodes of the Downton Abbey TV series, as as well as 2019’s first feature and the 2022 sequel Downton Abbey: A New Era. Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale is directed by Simon Curtis, written by Julian Fellowes and stars Hugh Bonneville, Jim Carter, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern, Paul Giamatti, Penelope Wilton, Laura Carmichael, Alessandro Nivola, Dominic West, Simon Russell Beale, Joanne Froggatt, Allen Leech, Phyllis Logan, Raquel Cassidy, Brendan Coyle, Harry Hadden-Paton, Kevin Doyle, Michael Fox, Robert James-Collier and Joely Richardson. The movie follows the Crawley family and their staff as they enter the 1930s. The drama will be released in theaters nationwide on September 12 by Focus Features.
