Lucky Dog has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Both Sides of the Blade (Avec amour et acharnement). The album features the film’s original music composed by Tindersticks (Nenette and Boni, Stars at Noon, Bastards). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other digital music services. Check back the band’s theme from the film after the jump. Their title song based on the theme has previously been released on the band’s record PAST IMPERFECT last year. Both Sides of the Blade is co-written and directed by Claire Denis and stars Juliette Binoche, Vincent Lindon, Grégoire Colin, Mati Diop, Issa Perica and Bulle Ogier. The movie revolves around a woman whose life spirals out of control when she becomes involved in a passionate love triangle. The drama, which first premiered at the 2022 Berlin Film Festival, was released in select U.S. theaters last summer by IFC Films and is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
