Composer Philippe Rombi (Swimming Pool, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, Potiche, War of the Buttons, In the House, Angel) is reteaming with director Yann Gozlan (Burn Out, A Perfect Man) on the upcoming French psychological thriller Visions. The film is written and directed by Gozlan (Burn Out, A Perfect Man) and stars Diane Kruger, Mathieu Kassovitz and Marta Nieto. The movie follows a married airline captain who begins an affair with her a former flame, when she gets recurring visions, nightmares and hallucinations and starts losing grip on reality. Eric Nebot & Thibault Gast, Matthias Weber (Promises, Gold Brick) are producing the Eagles Team Entertainment production. Rombi has previously scored Gozlan’s last feature, Black Box. Visions will be released in French theaters on September 6, 2023. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
Rombi’s other recent projects include Francois Ozon’s The Crime Is Mine (Mon crime), which opened in theaters overseas earlier this year and has been picked up by Music Box Films for a domestic release.
