Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Apple TV original documentary series Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Anže Rozman (The Americas, Beckham, Universe), Kara Talve (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Faraway Downs, The Simpons) & Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Dune, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean) who recently received an Emmy Award nomination for their work on the project. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ main theme after the jump. Lakeshore Records has previously released two albums featuring Rozman’s, Talve’s & Zimmer’s music from Prehistoric Planet Season 1 & Season 2 back in 2022 & 2023. Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age is executive produced by Jon Favreau & Mike Gunton, produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit and narrated by actor Tom Hiddleston. The 5-parter invites viewers into a dramatic new era of prehistoric life, millions of years after the extinction of the dinosaurs – an era shaped by ice, the intense fight to survive and the rise of a new cast of giants: the iconic megafauna. The series premiered last fall and is now available to stream on Apple TV.
