Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British/French drama The Great Escaper directed by Oliver Parker and starring Michael Caine, Glenda Jackson and John Standing. The film’s original music is composed by Craig Armstrong (Moulin Rouge!Love ActuallyRomeo + Juliet, The Incredible Hulk, The Great Gatsby, The Bone Collector, Far from the Madding Crowd, Ray, World Trade Center). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score back in 2023 when the movie opened in UK theaters. Premiering on Wednesday, November 26, is the Netflix original film Jingle Bell Heist directed by Michael Fimognari and starring Olivia Holt, Connor Swindells, Peter Serafinowicz, Lucy Punch,  Natasha Joseph, Poppy Drayton and Michael Salami. Composer, producer, arranger, DJ, singer/songwriter and pianist Steve Hackman (Radiohead x Brahms, Beethoven x Beyonce) has composed the movie’s original music. Premiering on Thursday, November 27, is the Disney Channel animated special Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol directed by Shane Zalvin and starring Dave Foley, Sarah Chalke, Derek Richardson, Manny Jacinto, Christopher Swindle,Danny Pudi and Dulcé Sloan.. The special’s original score is composed by Christopher Willis (The Death of Stalin, The Personal History of David Copperfield, Schmigadoon!, The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse, Old Dads, The Lion Guard, Goodrich). Walt Disney Records has released the original song Where Would We Be Without Magee? written by Willis, Elyssa Samsel & Kate Anderson and performed by Chalke from the project this past Friday.
