Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series The Residence. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The Lego Movie, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Croods: A New Age, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21/22 Jump Street). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 20 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. The Residence is created by Paul William Davies and stars Uzo Aduba, Giancarlo Esposito, Randall Park, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Molly Griggs, Susan Kelechi Watson, Jason Lee, Edwina Findley, Ken Marino and Al Mitchell. The crime comedy follows brilliant, eccentric detective who must investigate dozens of staff members in the White House residence when a state dinner becomes a crime scene. The Shondaland production will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Netflix.
