Artiworks has released the premiere soundtrack album for the 2014 documentary Mr. X. The album features the film’s original music composed by Gael Rakotondrabe (The Wild One, Porto, Etat limite) and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Also listen to the composer’s first track (La Samaritaine) below. Mr. X is directed by Tessa Louise-Salomé and centers on filmmaker Leon Carax (Holy Motors, Annette, Pola X, Boy Meets Girl, The Lover on the Bridge), a complex artist and a cult figure from his first feature. The documentary premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and was released in select U.S. theaters later that year by Carlotta Films.
