Pru Montin (Dark Whispers, Dream Gardens, Heck) has released a soundtrack album for the Australian coming-of-age drama Moon Rock for Monday. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Moon Rock for Monday is written and directed by Kurt Martin and stars George Pullar, Nicholas Hope, David Field, Alan Dukes, Aaron Jeffery, Bonnie Ferguson, Karina Banno, Dean Kyrwood, Rachel Romahn, Tristan McKinnon and Ashlyn Louden-Gamble. The movie is set in 1999 and tells the story of a young terminally ill girl who befriends and teams up with a fugitive teenage boy to visit a moon rock that the girl believes might heal her. The drama, which premiered at various film festivals in 2020, opened in Australian theaters in 2021 and is now available to stream in the U.S. on Freevee.
