Oliver Coates (Aftersun, Mary & George, Occupied CityThe StrangerFoe, Significant Other) is attached to score the upcoming romance Pillion. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Harry Lighton (Wren Boys) and will star Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling. The movie is based on Adam Mars-Jones’ Box Hill and follows a weedy wallflower who is letting life pass him by, when he meets the handsome leader of a motorbike club who takes him on as his submissive. Element Pictures’ Emma Norton (Normal People, The Eternal Daughter), Ed Guiney (The FavouriteRoom), Andrew Lowe (Poor ThingsChevalier) are producing the project with with Lee Groombridge (The Goob).
