Anne Nikitin (The Dropout, American Animals, Fate: The Winx Saga, One Day, Dangerous Liaisons, Mrs. Wilson, The Pale Horse) has recently scored the upcoming Paramount+ original movie Little Wing. The film is directed by Dean Israelite (Power Rangers, Project Almanac) and stars Brian Cox, Kelly Reilly, Brooklynn Prince and Che Tafari. The coming-of-age drama inspired by The New Yorker article by Susan Orlean about the world of pigeon racing revolves around a teenager who is reeling from her parents’ divorce and the pending loss of her home and forms a bond with the owner of a valuable bird that she was planning to steal that leads her to a new outlook on life. John Gatins (Flight, Real Steel) wrote the screenplay and is also producing the Awesomeness production with Naomi Despres (Kill the Messenger, Lizzie). Little Wing will premiere on March 13, 2024 exclusively on Paramount+.
Nikitin’s other recent projects include Philip Martin’s Netflix film Scoop (co-scored with Hannah Peel), which will premiere on April 5, as well as Benoit Delhomme’s Mothers’ Instinct, which will also be released this year.
