Anne Nikitin (American Animals, The Dropout, Mrs. Wilson, Fate: The Winx Saga, Dangerous Liaisons, The Pale Horse) & Hannah Peel (Rogue Agent, The Deceived, Game of Thrones: The Last Watch) have teamed up to score the upcoming British Netflix original film Scoop. The movie is directed by Philip Martin (The Crown, The Forger) and stars Gillian Anderson, Keeley Hawes, Billie Piper and Rufus Sewell. The drama is inspired by real events and and centers on the women who landed an earthshattering interview – Prince Andrew’s infamous BBC Newsnight appearance. Peter Moffatt (Criminal Justice, Your Honor) & Geoff Bussetil (Mortal) wrote the screenplay. Hilary Salmon (Silk, 61st Street) & Radford Neville (DCI Banks) are producing the project for The Lighthouse Film & Television. Scoop will premiere this year on Netflix.
