Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the musical comedy Mean Girls directed by Samantha Jayne & Arturo Perez Jr. and starring Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho, ReneĂ© Rapp, Avantika, Jaquel Spivey, Jenna Fischer, Bebe Wood. Christopher Briney, Busy Philipps, Tim Meadows and Tina Fey. The film’s original score is composed by Jeff Richmond (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Baby Mama, Girls5eva). Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie written by Richmond & Nell Benjamin today. Also opening wide is the biblical comedy drama The Book of Clarence directed by Jeymes Samuel (The Harder They Fall) and starring LaKeith Stanfield, Anna Diop, Omar Sy, David Oyelowo, Micheal Ward, RJ Cyler, Teyana Taylor, James McAvoy, Alfre Woodard, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Benedict Cumberbatch. Jeymes has also composed the film’s original music. Roc Nation Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie and Milan Records has released a separate album featuring Samuel’s score today. Also opening nationwide is the action thriller The Beekeeper directed by David Ayer and starring Jason Statham, Josh Hutcherson, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Minnie Driver, Phylicia Rashad, Bobby Naderi and Jeremy Irons. The film’s original music is composed by David Sardy (Zombieland, End of Watch, Premium Rush, 21, Bright, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) & Jared Michael Fry (Safehouse). Opening in select U.S. theaters is the French comedy drama Driving Madeleine (Une belle course) co-written and directed by Christian Carion and starring Line Renaud, Dany Boon and Alice Isaaz. Philippe Rombi  (Swimming Pool, In the House, Joyeux Noel,Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, Angel, The Crime Is Mine) has composed the film’s original music. Music Box Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score in 2022 when the movie opened in France. Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the western The Night They Came Home directed by Paul G. Volk and starring Brian Austin Green, Robert Carradine, Charlie Townsend, Kelsey Reinhardt, Tim Abell and Danny Trejo. The film’s original music is composed by Ram Khat (Skylines, Portals, Never Back Down: Revolt). No soundtrack album has been announced yet. The movie, which is based on the savage crime spree of the Native American outlaws Rufus Buck Gang, is being released by Lionsgate.
Opening in select theaters while also premiering on Shudder/AMC+ today is the horror comedy Destroy All Neighbors directed by Josh Forbes and starring Jonah Ray Rodrigues, Alex Winter, Jon Daly, Kiran Deol, Christian Calloway, Thomas Lennon and Randee Heller. Ryan Kattner & Brett Morris have composed the film’s original music. Sub Pop Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the score and a song by Man Man today. Gary Gray and starring Kevin Hart, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sam Worthington, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ăšrsula CorberĂł, Billy Magnussen, Jean Reno and Jacob Batalon. The film’s original music is composed by Dominic Lewis (Bullet Train, The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, The King’s Man, Money Monster, Violent Night) and Guillaume Roussel (Black Beauty, 3 Days to Kill, Expend4bles, The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan & Milday, Happy!).
