Altus Records has released a soundtrack album for the Indian drama The Last Farmer (Kadaisi Vivasayi). The album features the film’s original score composed by Richard Harvey (Luther, The Little Prince, Arabian Nights, Death of a President, Animal Farm). Maajja has previously released a digital single featuring two songs from the movie by Santhosh Narayanan. The Last Farmer is written and directed by M. Manikandan and stars Nallandi, Muneeshwaran, Kali Muthu, Chaplin Sunda, Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu. The movie, which follows the last active farmer in his remote Indian village who refuses to sell his land to a property developer, first premiered in 2021 and was released in Indian theaters in early 2022.
