The 6-part romantic comedy, which centers on the relationship between a bad-tempered Belfast supermarket worker and a self-centered, political broadcaster with what looks to be a perfect London life and a celebrity girlfriend, premiered in the UK on Sky Atlantic and will make its domestic debut on Sundance Now and AMC+.
Also premiering on Thursday is the Netflix original series My Life with the Walter Boys created by Melanie Halsall based on Ali Novak’s novel of the same title and starring Nikki Rodriguez, Sarah Rafferty, Ashby Gentry, Marc Blucas, Connor Stanhope, Noah LaLonde, Corey Fogelmanis, Dean Petriw, Johnny Link, Alix West Lefler, Isaac Arellanes, Lennix James, Myles Perez, Alisha Newton, Zoë Soul and Jaylan Evans. The film’s original score is composed by Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Rome, Carnivale, Appaloosa, Pollock) who previously scored all episodes of the Monk TV series. The comedy, which follows the title character as he returns to solve one last case involving his beloved stepdaughter, journalist preparing for her wedding, will be available to stream exclusively on Peacock.
