Premiering today is the AMC original series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon developed by David Zabel and starring Norman Reedus, Clémence Poésy, Eriq Ebouaney, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Romain Levi, Laika Blanc Francard and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi. The show’s original music is composed by David Sardy (Zombieland, 21, End of Watch, Bright, Monster Trucks, Premium Rush). Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, September 12, is the German event series The Swarm (Der Schwarm) based on Frank Schätzing’s bestselling novel and starring Cécile de France, Alexander Karim, Takuya Kimura, Leonie Benesch, Joshua Odjick, Krista Kosonen, Oliver Masucci, Barbara Sukowa and Sharon Duncan-Brewster. Dascha Dauenhauer (Golda, Berlin Alexanderplatz, Blood Red Sky, Bliss, Souls) has composed the show’s original music. Sony Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this year when the sci-fi drama premiered overseas. Premiering on Wednesday, September 13, is the Hulu original series The Other Black Girl based on Zakiya Dalila Harris’ novel of the same title and starring Sinclair Daniel, Ashleigh Murray, Hunter Parrish, Eric McCormack and Garcelle Beauvais. The show’s original music is composed by EmmoLei Sankofa (Step Up, Lizzo’s Watch Out For the Big Grrrls, Three Ways). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be released by Hollywood Records (check back on this page for the full details). Also premiering on Wednesday is the Netflix original documentary series Wrestlers directed by Greg Whiteley about the wrestling gym Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville. Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Florida Man, Twisted Metal, Good Sam) has composed the show’s original music. Premiering on Friday, September 15, is the British Amazon original series Wilderness created by Brit Marnie Dickens based on B.E. Jones’ novel of the same name and starring Jenna Coleman, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ashley Benson and Eric Balfour. The show’s original music is composed by Morgan Kibby (aka White Sea) (The Watcher, Mothering Sunday, The Power, Grand Army, Girls of the Sun, Tales of the Walking Dead). The 6-part thriller directed by So Yong Kim will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video.
