Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, The Queen,Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The King’s Speech) has recently been scoring the upcoming Netflix original film Nyad. The movie marks the narrative feature directorial debut of documentary filmmakers Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin (Free Solo, The Rescue) and stars Annette Bening, Jodie Foster, Rhys Ifans, Luke Cosgrove, Ethan Jones Romero, Eric T. Desplat has previously scored the Schwarzman-produced features The Imitation Game and Suburbicon. Nyad will premiere next month at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival and will debut later this year on Netflix.

Desplat’s other recent projects include Ellen Kurras’ Lee, which will also premiere at TIFF, as well as Roman Polanski’s The Palace, which will premiere at the Venice Film Festival
