Blind Bay Records has released a soundtrack album for the Norwegian biographical drama Munch. The album features the film’s original music written by violinist/composer Tim Fain (who has performed on the soundtracks for Black Swan, Moonlight & 12 Years a Slave, among other titles) who has made his narrative feature scoring debut on the project. Furuseth, Anne Krigsvoll, Jesper Christensen and Anders Baasmo. The movie depicts the troubled life of Norwegian painter Edvard Munch (The Scream) through four time periods, played by four different actors. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Rotterdam Film Festival, opened in Norwegian theaters this past January and has been picked up by Juno Films for a domestic release later this year.
