Robert Duncan is the composer of the new Netflix original series The Night Agent. The show is created by Shawn Ryan (The Shield) based on Matthew Quirk’s novel and stars Gabriel Basso, Luciane Buchanan, Hong Chau, D.B. Woodside, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Sarah Desjardins, Phoenix Raei, Eve Harlow and Enrique Murciano. The thriller revolves around a vigilant FBI agent monitoring an emergency line who answers a call that plunges him into a deadly conspiracy involving a mole at the White House. Ryan is also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Marney Hochman, Julia Gunn (United We Fall), James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, Truth), William Sherak (Ready or Not, Suspiria), Paul Neinstein (Scream VI), Nicole Tossou and David Beaubaire (Fatherhood), as well as Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief) who also directed multiple episodes. Duncan (Castle, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has previously collaborated with Ryan on the TV shows The Unit, Last Resort, Mad Dogs, Terriers, The Chicago Code, Timeless, as well as CBS’ S.W.A.T., which currently airs (in its sixth season) every Friday. The Night Agent will premiere on March 23, 2023 on Netflix.
Duncan also continues to co-score CBS’ The Equalizer, which currently airs (in its third season) every Sunday.
