WaterTower Music has released digital versions of the remastered original scores from six movies in the A Nightmare on Elm Street film series. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services are the scores from Jack Sholder’s A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser), Chuck Russell’s A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors composed by Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet), Renny Harlin’s A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master composed by Craig Safan (The Last Starfighter, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins), A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child composed by Jay Ferguson (The Office, NCIS: Los Angeles), Rachel Talalay’s Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare composed by Brian May (Mad Max, The Road Warrior) and Ronny Yu’s Freddy vs. Jason composed by Graeme Revell (Dead Calm, Tomb Raider). The remastered and expanded score have previously been released as part an 8-CD box set released in 2015 by Varese Sarabande and a vinyl edition released in 2017 by Death Waltz Recording Company. Charles Bernstein’s score from Wes Craven’s original 1984 movie has previously received a digital release as part of WaterTower Music’s Archive Collection.
