Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2007 biographical drama La Vie en Rose (La Môme) directed by Olivier Dahan and starring Marion Cotillard (who received an Academy Award for her performance as Edith Piaf), Emmanuelle Seigner, Jean-Paul Rouve, Gerard Depardieu and Clotilde Courau. The 15th Anniversary Edition features the expanded and remastered original score from the movie composed and conducted by Christopher Gunning (Agatha Christie’s Poirot, Grace of Monaco, Under Suspicion), including over 40 minutes of previously unreleased music. Visit the label’s official website to order the limited edition CD, for more details and to check out audio samples. Parlophone France has previously released the original 2007 soundtrack featuring the songs from the film and around 20 minutes of Gunning’s score. La Vie en Rose is now available on VOD and DVD.
