Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Crazy Rich Asians, Fast & Furious, Now You See Me) & Breton Vivian are teaming up to co-score the upcoming Paramount+ original series 1883. The show is created by Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Sicario) and stars Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Billy Bob Thornton and Faith Hill. The drama is a spin-off of the streamer’s hit series Yellowstone and follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. Sheridan is also executive producing the MTV Entertainment Group production with John Linson (Lords of Dogtown, Sons of Anarchy), Art Linson (Heat, The Untouchables), David C. Glasser (Waco, Marco Polo), Ron Burkle (Rules Don’t Apply, Mayor of Kingstown) and Bob Yari (Crash, The Illusionist). Tyler & Vivian have also been co-scoring the last couple of seasons of Yellowstone, as well as the features Five Feet Apart and the upcoming Redeeming Love (to be released in theaters on January 21, 2022). In addition to Yellowstone, Tyler has also collaborated with Sheridan on his last feature directorial effort, Those Who Wish Me Dead. 1883 will premiere on December 19, 2021 Paramount+.

Tyler’s other upcoming projects include the fifth installment in the Scream series (to be released on January 14, 2022) and the Disney+ movie Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers (to premiere in 2022).

Just FYI, Yellowstone does not, currently, stream on Paramount+. It is a Paramount Network Original Television Series, so you can not watch it on Paramount+ like Sheridan’s other upcoming series, Mayor of Kingstown & 1883, at least for the time being as I’m guessing that will change at some point in the future, being that both are under Paramount. Yellowstone does however stream on Peacock at this time.
