Dan Romer (Beasts of the Southern Wild, Superman & Lois, Maniac, Beasts of No Nation, The Good Doctor) has recently scored Pixar Animation Studios’ short Ciao Alberto. The film is directed by McKenna Harris and features the voices of Jack Dylan Grazer, Marco Barricelli and Jacob Tremblay who reprise their roles from Pixar’s feature Luca. The short follows Alberto as he is enjoying his new life in Portorosso working alongside Massimo, the imposing, tattooed, one-armed fisherman of few words. Matt DeMartini is producing the project and Enrico Casarosa & Kiri Hart serve as executive producers. Romer has previously scored the Casarosa-directed Luca, which premiered this past summer. Ciao Alberto will debut next Friday, November 12 exclusively on Disney+.
