Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, The LEGO Batman Movie, His Dark Materials, Bad Boys for Life) has recently been scoring the new Hulu limited series Dopesick. The show is written by Danny Strong (Recount, Game Change, Empire) and stars Michael Keaton,  Peter Sarsgaard, Michael Stuhlbarg, Kaitlyn Dever, Rosario Dawson, Will Poulter and John Hoogenakker. The 8-part drama is inspired by the New York Times bestselling book Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company That Addicted America by Beth Macy and examines how one company triggered the worst drug epidemic in American history. Strong, Macy and Keaton are also executive producing the 20th Television production with John Goldwyn (Dexter, MacGruber), Warren Littlefield (The Handmaid’s Tale, Fargo), Karen Rosenfelt (The Twilight Saga, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief), as well as Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning Vietnam) who also directed the first two episodes. Amanda Krieg Thomas serves as the project’s music supervisor. Dopesick will premiere this coming Wednesday, October 13 exclusively on Hulu.

    Much interest in this series, it has an incredible cast
