EMI Latin has released a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Selena: The Series. The album features the songs from the show performed by the title character and her band Selena y Los Dinos. Lynn Fainchtein serves as the project’s music producer and music supervisor. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. Selena: The Series is created by Moises Zamora and stars Christian Serratos, Gabriel Chavarria, Ricardo Chavira, Noemí Gonzalez, and Seidy López. The drama explores Selena Quintanilla’s journey from singing small gigs to becoming the most successful female Latin artist of all time – and the years of hard work and sacrifice the Quintanilla family navigated together. The series is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.

my only question is WHY did actor who portrayed Selena look so much like Jennifer Lopez.. I know a lot of people who didn’t like the first movie because they had a Puerto Rican actor playing a Mexican/American woman!!!
