Sean Callery (24, Jessica Jones, Homeland, La Femme Nikita, Bones) is scoring the upcoming Fox drama neXt. The show is created by Manny Coto (Dexter, 24) and stars John Slattery, Fernanda Andrade, Michael Mosley, Jason Butler Harner, Eve Harlow, Aaron Moten, Gerardo Celasco, Elizabeth Cappucino and Evan Whitten. The series centers on a Silicon Valley pioneer, who discovers that one of his own creations – a powerful A.I. – might spell global catastrophe, and teams up with a cybercrime agent to fight a villain unlike anything we’ve ever seen – one whose greatest weapon against us is ourselves. Coto is also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Charlie Gogolak (This Is Us, The Sinner) and John Requa & Glenn Ficarra (Crazy, Stupid, Love., Focus) who also directed the pilot episode. neXt will premiere this coming fall on Fox. Callery has also recently scored the eighth and final season of Showtime’s Homeland. The composer also continues to score CBS’ Bull, which has been renewed for a fifth season, which is currently scheduled to premiere this fall.
